Applied Instructor of Voice at the Undergraduate and Graduate level.
Teach courses in Vocal Technique and Diction and the Pronunciation of Voice (French, German, Italian).
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Voice Performance or equivalent degree field.
The ability to teach undergraduate and graduate level applied voice.
A strong background in student-centered approaches to teaching including experience in and/or commitment to working with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles, and/or first-generation, BIPOC, queer-identifying and/or disabled university/college students.
Preferred Qualifications
DMA, PhD, or DA in Vocal Performance or equivalent degree field.
Essential Functions and percent of time:
80% Teaching applied voice, teaching courses in Vocal Technique and Diction and the Pronunciation of Voice (French, German, Italian), and advising and supervising students in the Vocal Music Program
20% Service for the department, college and university and recruitment to the Vocal Area
