The Cedarville University School of Education and Social Work seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure track eligible Assistant or Associate Professor of Education in Early Childhood (PreK-5 th grade).
A Special Education license is helpful.
This 24-credit load position includes supervising and teaching early childhood/elementary pedagogy in the Pre-K through 5 th grade bands.
Applicants must be committed to the Biblical integration of faith and education.
Additional responsibilities include service to the School of Education and Psychology and fostering collaborative partnerships with local schools.
This position is subject to the University's verification of credentials and other information required by law and Cedarville University policies, including the successful completion of a background check.
Application review will begin upon posting and will continue until the position is filled.
This position is pending budget approval.
Position Requirements: Terminal degree in Elementary (PK-5)/Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
ABD applicants are considered.
Applicants without a terminal degree will be considered for Instructor status.
A state teaching license/certification in Pre-K through 5 th grade Special Education license helpful PK-5 teaching experience Experience with literacy assessment preferred Experience with Preschool helpful but not required Teaching experience in higher education preferred Commitment to biblical integration of faith and education A born-again Christian with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ Qualified applicant must agree with and be willing to abide by Cedarville University’s Doctrinal Statement , Community Covenant , and General Work Place Standards .
