We are seeking an experienced Engineer/Scientist to join our team.
Skills:
Participates in the design, specification and development of systems and tools for new programs as well as enhancements, modifications and corrections to existing systems and tools
Applies advanced knowledge of engineering and computer programming languages and principles, techniques and established practices and procedures to projects where technical problems and objectives require further definition
Recommends system architectures, allocates requirements and prepares specifications
Possesses sufficient writing and communication skills to prepare and present reports, papers, proposals, briefings and other documentation pertinent to the position
Works under limited supervision and may provide technical direction to one or more professional technical persons on an assigned project
Requirements:
Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor’s degree or greater in sciences or engineering
Minimum 5 years of related experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This full-time position is Monday through Friday and operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Limited travel may be required.
