Essential Functions: Takes orders, serves food and drinks to residents in a timely, efficient and courteous manner.
Responsible for general cleaning, washing dishes, pots and pans, mopping and sweeping of kitchen area.
Maintains proper kitchen sanitation for the whole area, removing trash and general kitchen tasks.
Provides cooks and food servers with clean cooking utensils and service ware for the guests.
Maintains knowledge of the maintenance of service ware, and proper handling of china and glassware.
Provides fast, friendly, and efficient service to every resident, while clearing dining tables.
Provides beverages, and anticipate refill needs.
Assists fellow staff members in taking beverage order and, and demonstrates knowledge of menu items, provide excellent service according to service standard.
Informs Lead Dining Captain or Chef problems arise with a guest.
Maintains kitchen floor free of debris and liquid at all times.
Maintains chemical par level for operation.
Prepares 3 compartment sink according to sanitation standards.
Uses proper technique to load and unload dishwasher.
Makes sure that the dishwasher machine is cleaning properly, reaching proper sanitizing temperature.
Keeps and maintain a clean workstation at all times.
Cleans all drains.
Buses the plates, glasses and silver ware.

Attributes: Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.

Trunk Strength - The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without ’giving out’ or fatiguing.

Experience And Education: Less than a High School Diploma; No experience necessary Time spent in physical exertion: Standing (over 2/3), walking (over 2/3), sitting (under 1/3), using hands to finger, handle or feel (over 2/3), reach with hands and arms (over 2/3), climb and balance (over 2/3), stoop, kneel, crawl (1/2-2/3), talk or hear (1/3 - 2/3), taste or smell over (under 1/3).
