*Summary / Position Purpose:*
Clean all equipment and infrastructure in a thorough and efficient manner, with an emphasis on adhering to Peak Foods safety rules and procedures.
Dismantle, inspect, and reassemble equipment as directed.
Protect equipment during clean and safely handle all chemicals used in the process.
Accurate recording of activities on documents, and the understanding of HACCP, pasteurization, sanitation, allergens, and all food safety programs are required.
*Principle Accountabilities:*
o Duties and tasks as assigned by Supervisor / Manager
o Follow Standard Cleaning Procedures (SCP) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) to clean equipment and facility at a microbiological level.
o Follow Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
o Comply with all Company policies including, but not limited to, Quality, Safety, Food Safety, Environmental, GMP's, HAACP, and Attendance.
o Perform duties accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with the published production schedule as well as verbal instruction.
o Understand and follow procedures of the department for use of the department's equipment.
o Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices for the care, handling, and storage of food products; and report any known or observed violations to management.
Utilize HACCP philosophy and procedures in everyday work routine.
o Communicate to Management, and support departments as needed.
o Follow and enforce safety procedures.
*Experience / Competencies:*
o Able to read and comprehend printed and electronic information.
o Know how to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
o Possess strong attention to detail.
o Able to work with others in a team environment
*Other Requirements:*
o Safety wear is required, including hairnet hearing protection, safety glasses, steel toe boots, coats, rain suits and other necessary PPE equipment.
o Environmental temperatures range: -20 to 90 degrees.
o Stand on a consistent basis throughout an 8 to 10 hr.
