POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Deposit Accounting Clerk is primarily responsible for the administration of the Deposit Accounting/move out process.
Processing move out statements for residents, security deposit refunds, billable charges, occupied acquisitions, move out adjustments, and resident calls.
Also assisting AR Clerks as needed.
This is an in-office position.
Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: $17.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Processes Deposit Accounting - move out statement/letter, security deposit refund in a timely manner
Process resident chargeback/billables
Process residents move out adjustments
Update and track final water totals
Research and resolve ledger discrepancies
Correspond with residents regarding payment discrepancies
Onboard and validate Occupied Acquisitions
Assist with incoming/outbound calls
Assist with office mail as needed
Provide residents with online payment information and process
Provide backup assistance with AR as needed
Perform general office duties such as filing, answering phones and emails and routine correspondence
Cross train on other tasks as needed to provide backup assistance with AR department
Other job duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES)
Professional customer service skills
Must possess exceptional organizational skills
Operate 10-key calculator, computers, and copy machines to perform calculations and produce documents
Ability to work independently and in a group setting
Ability to communicate effectively, via telephone, email, or in person
Basic Accounting background
Valid Driver’s License is a requirement

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Occasional travel may be needed for this position.
