There is one position available and it is part-time for approximately 20 hours per week.
This time could increase based on vacations and sick incidents for other staff.
The Bookkeeping Assistant is responsible for various financial tasks within the Finance Department.

Primary Duties Essential Functions: Manage Books via QuickBooks software system for Elizabeth's New Life Center.
Make deposits, including checks, cash, Visa, EFT, payroll deduction donations, etc.
and record properly.
Pay bills after approval and record under appropriate category.
This includes printing out checks, having them signed, and mailing.
Enter recurring EFT payments in QuickBooks and print out documentation as necessary for grant submittals.
Process reimbursement payments for staff, as requested.
Periodically reconcile monthly bank statements.
Assist the development department in collecting, processing, and recording income.
Assist the development department with special projects, as time allows, specifically the 5-K Fun Run.
File paper copies.
Maintain and protect strict confidentiality.
Other bookkeeping duties as assigned.
Secondary Functions Other duties pertaining to the mission of the organization as assigned by management.
Job Requirements Experience, Education, and Licensure Sample: bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
Experience working in deadline-driven environments.
Language Skills Must work well in a team environment, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
Must be highly skilled in writing, researching and able to pay attention to detail and maintain accurate records.
Must possess excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be persuasive, analytical, creative, and apply critical thinking and problem-solving techniques.
Work Environment Must be available two 8-hour days Monday through Friday.
Must be able to use a computer keyboard, telephone, and lift up to 20 pounds.
Driving Requirements Driving to and from various locations may be required.
Mileage may be reimbursed by ENLC.
Occasional night and weekends may be required.
ENLC Expectations Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Complete understanding of the program for which he or she is requesting funding.
Adhere to ENLC Policy and Procedures.
Report safety concerns to management.
Adhere to grant guidelines.
Ability to handle tight work schedules and associated stress.
Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload, often balancing multiple priorities.
Strong personal motivation, initiative, sense of responsibility.
A servant’s attitude with the ability to understand how all tasks impact Elizabeth’s New Life Center’s ministry of supporting life.
Willingness to support Elizabeth’s New Life Center’s mission and vision as defined by Elizabeth's New Life Center.
