Degree Audit Coordinator

Job Summary: • Work with Deans and Department Chairs regarding new and existing courses in Banner and Degree Works to ensure academic integrity and consistency • Supports the Associate Registrar with the Catalog and other duties • Development, maintenance, and publication of the university’s degree audit and related systems in accordance with university academic regulations and policies • Provides support in maintaining the student information system, Banner course inventory and Degree Works • Creating courses and programs in Banner and Degree Works • Provide accurate information to internal/external parties concerning graduation • Train others in the use of Degree Works and participate in the implementation of policy and procedures regarding the operations Communicate via email, phone and in person with staff, faculty, and students Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications • A Bachelor’s Degree •1 to 3 years higher education experience • Knowledge of Banner •Knowledge of Degree Works •Strong verbal and written communication skills •Basic knowledge of Microsoft products Preferred Qualifications Must be computer literate • Must have knowledge of PC and spreadsheet applications • Must have the ability to organize and maintain a record keeping system • Must have the ability to work closely and collaboratively with University personnel in the development and operation of the Degree Audit System • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must be self-motivated and able to think independently • Must be well organized and able to accomplish multiple tasks in a timely manner • Previous experience with a Degree Audit System and BANNER is preferred but is not mandatory Posting Date 03/10/2023 Closing Date Open Until Filled Yes Special Instructions to Applicants Position Category Staff - Monthly (Exempt) Budgeted Annual Salary Commensurate with experience
